After graduating from Winthrop University, Amanda migrated to the Queen City and has worked on and off stage consistently for the last 20 years. One of the highlights was directing The Complete Works of William Shakespeare: Abridged at her alma mater's Black Box Theater. Some favorite roles from previous Shakespeare productions include Mistress Page, Katherine, Miranda, Feste, Phebe, Luciana, and Trinculo in last year's Bard at the Barn production of The Tempest. She’s had the pleasure to work with Chickspeare, Shakespeare Carolina, Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, and Three Bone Theatre among many others. Thank you to Chet and Katy (and Perry) for welcoming me back to play with Shepherd Shakespeare Company again this year. And thanks to you for supporting live theatre!!

Valerie (Titania/Theseus) is grateful to return to the barn for this production with Shepherd Shakespeare Company. She is excited to finally complete the actor milestone of having performed in A Midsummer Night's Dream. She would like to thank this magical cast and crew for such a supportive and fun environment to play and create these iconic characters.

Leslie is honored to return to SSC for her 4th production with the company! She was previously seen in their productions of The Tempest, The Comedy of Errors, and Twelfth Night. Charlotte audiences may also recognize her from Three Bone Theatre’s award winning production of Protective Custody Prisoner 34042 (Susan), as well as Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte’s musical productions of The Toxic Avenger and Silence! The Musical. Leslie is also proud to have performed in the ambitious 2 person production of The Lion, the Witch, & the Wardrobe with Children’s Theatre of Charlotte, a company she called home for a decade as she toured 40 productions with their Resident Touring Company (formally known as the Tarradiddle Players).When not on stage, Leslie can be found at Atrium Health Carolinas Simulation Center where she manages the Simulated Participant program (& employs local actors! Google us!). Love to her supportive husband, Michael, & their fur babies Penny & Ziggy.

Andre Braza is a proud Filipino-American actor and musician currently based in Charlotte NC, and is excited to return for Bard at the Barn. You may have seen him as Autolycus/Antigonus, Winter's Tale, at Davidson Community Players/Shepherd Shakespeare Company; or as Ferdinand, The Tempest, previously at the Barn. Some of his favorite roles include Tommer, Tommer's Earthly Friends at the New London Barn Playhouse; Chirag Gupta, Diary of a Wimpy Kid the Musical at the Children's Theatre of Charlotte; Artist/Chen, The Magic Paintbrush at REV Theatre Co; Duke of Bedford, Dauphin U/S, Henry V at the Orlando Shakes. He also loves to perform with instruments such as accordion and ukulele. He graduated from Appalachian State University with a BA in Theater and the University of Central Florida with an MFA in Acting. Rob Addison was in Shepherd Shakespeare Company's 2nd Bard at the Barn production, AS YOU LIKE IT (Adam/Fredrick/Jaques). Locally in Charlotte he has also been seen in EUREKA DAY (Don), HEAD OVER HEELS (Basilius), and SWEENEY TODD (Sweeny). At Children’s Theater of Charlotte, he was in SCHOOL OF ROCK (Mr. Moonyham) and CATCHING THE MOON (Gabby Street). In multiple seasons with Actors Theatre of Charlotte he was seen in SILENCE: THE MUSICAL (Dr. Lecter), FUN HOME (Bruce), THE CURIOUS INCIDENT OF THE DOG IN THE NIGHT-TIME (Ed), THE 39 STEPS (Clown 1) and FLY BY NIGHT (McClam). In five seasons at CPCC Summer Theater he was in NEWSIES (Pulitzer), OLIVER (Fagin), YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN (Kemp/Hermit), SPAMALOT (Sir Bedivere et. all) and ANNIE (FDR/ Bert Healy) to name a few. A Southern California native, Rob holds an MFA from FSU/ Asolo Conservatory and has performed and directed across the country for over thirty years. In addition to numerous regional performing credits, he is currently the Theatre Arts teacher at Clover High School. He is extremely grateful to his entire family for their love and support.

Hannah Risser
Stage Manager
Hannah Risser has been active in the Charlotte theater community for the past ten years and this is her fifth time working with the wonderful Shepherd Shakespeare Company. She has stage managed throughout Charlotte, including ANGELS IN AMERICA with Queen City Theatre Company and THE LEGEND OF GEORGIA MCBRIDE with Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte. Hannah can also be found onstage, her past roles including Little Theater of Gastonia's HEATHERS (Heather Duke), Actor’s Theatre of Charlotte’s AMERICAN IDIOT (Leslie), and QC Concert's LOCAL SINGLES (Chloe). Working with everyone is a highlight of each year, and she thanks Chet and Katy for including her on this wild ride!
